Apple to open retail store in Koregaon Park, Pune on Sep 4

Apple will open a new retail store in Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, Maharashtra on September 4. The opening marks a significant expansion for Apple in the country, as per a press release by the company.

A barricade for the store was put up in Apple Koregaon Park on Tuesday morning, following last week’s reveal in Bengaluru.

At Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park, customers can access Apple’s latest product line-up, experience new features, and receive support from team members such as Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business teams. Customers will also be able to attend ‘Today at Apple’ sessions at the new store locations, which provide free events on photography, music, art, or coding. The company had earlier introduced new retail services like ‘Shop with a Specialist over Video’ and the Apple Store app.

During its latest quarter result, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook had talked about the company’s plans to open more stores in India. The company noted that the majority of iPhones sold in the US, originated from India. Apple is also continuing with its plans to ramp up assembly in India.
