Genpact acquires XponentL Data to boost AI capabilities

The financial details of Genpact acquiring XponentL Data are yet to be disclosed.

Technology services and solutions company Genpact announced it acquisition of Pennsylvania-based XponentL Data, a data products and AI solutions provider. The company expects XponentL to bring differentiated domain-led data strategy, design and engineering capabilities aiding in its pivot to data, AI, and other advanced technologies.

The acquisition was completed on June 5 while the financial details of the transaction are yet to be disclosed.

The move comes after Genpact signed a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December of last year with plans to accelerate the adoption of AI and empower business leaders across functions to harness its transformative potential.

With the acquisition of XponentL, Genpact expects to bolster its capabilities across numerous leading data platforms, including AWS and Microsoft.

Johnstone will continue to lead the XponentL business and all XponentL employees will join Genpact, the company said in its release.
