Google, AP Govt sign pact for skill development training
The Andhra Pradesh Government has signed an agreement with Google to offer skill development training classes in all the schools and colleges in the State.
“The Andhra Pradesh Real Time Governance Society has signed the agreement to drive AI advancements in the State. Google will provide skill development programs in schools and colleges, train start-ups and traditional industries in AI-based solutions, and assist in areas like healthcare and sustainability,” Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, has said in a statement.
“This partnership will also focus on enhancing digital infrastructure and fostering a robust startup ecosystem in the state. Google will also conduct training classes on AI-related services for start-ups, and small businesses,” a State Government official said.
“Google will also extend its cooperation to the State Government in key areas like healthcare and environmental sustainability to integrate AI and ML solutions,” he said.
Lalitha Ramani, General Manager of Google India, and Suresh Kumar, the Secretary of Real Time Governance (Andhra Pradesh) signed the agreement on Thursday.
